CANDLE CARE + FAQ
DO YOUR CANDLES SHIP WORLDWIDE?
Yes, our candles can be shipped anywhere. Please refer to our policy page for detailed shipping info and prices.
WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE?
We use high grade soy wax, premium fragrance oils that follow IFRA standards and are phthalate-free, high quality lead free wicks made from natural fibres and heat tested glassware.
HOW REGULARLY DO YOU RESTOCK?
We aim to do a full candle restock 1-2 times a month. This means a certain number of candles will be made in advance and released all together. Once sold out, they will not be available again until the next restock. To avoid disappointment, please follow us on our social media pages for the latest news on updates.
WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT CANDLE CARE TIPS?
1) Always trim the wick before relighting your candle, never light a candle wick that has blossomed or mushroomed. Ensure to empty all wick debris and only do this step when the candle has completely cooled.
2) Allow your candle to burn long enough for the top layer of wax to completely liquify and pool to the edge of the jar. This is especially important for the first burn! Wax has memory and this helps avoid tunnelling and ensures an even burn cycle with maximum scent throw.
3) Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time and allow at least 2 hours to cool before relighting. For safety guidelines, please refer to the warning label attached to the bottom of your candle.
Snap off 2 -3 pieces of wax and place into a clean melt warmer or tealight burner. Ensure to place warmer/burner in a safe and stable spot away from drafts, flammable items, children and pets.
When the wax has cooled it will solidify and shrink. You may reuse the melt as many times as you like until the scent dissipates or you can pop out and store (cool, clean, dry area) for later use.
Remember to treat wax melts the same as a candle and always practice safe melting. If using a tealight burner, do not leave the flame unattended. If using a warmer, ensure it has been safety tested and is functioning correctly.
WHY DOES MY CANDLE LOOK BLEMISHED?
This is called frosting and it is a naturally occurring component of soy wax. Every effort is made to reduce it, but it cannot be completely eliminated without chemicals and/or additives. It does not affect the quality of your candle in any way, it is just a sign that your candle is a natural product.
DO YOU DO CUSTOM/BULK ORDERS?
At present we do not offer custom orders. Bulk orders of our exsisting range can be considered on a case by case basis, please email email@example.com to enquire.
